Built for work, the RANGER 400® is a tough, versatile machine that's smaller than the XP.  It's built to fit in the bed of a truck - so you can take it with you without having to put it on a trailer.

On-Demand True All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with Versatrac Turf Mode.

True AWD keeps you moving, automatically engaging all four wheels when you need more forward traction and reverting back to 2WD when you don't.  When in 2WD, the VersaTrac Turf Mode switch unlocks the rear differential for easier, tighter turns that won't tear up your grass.

Legendary Smooth Independent Rear Suspension (IRS).

Polaris® ATV's were the first with IRS.  The RANGER® 400 has 20.3cm (8") of travel in the front and 22.9cm (9") in the rear for a smooth, comfortable ride.

Industry Exclusive SpeedKey.

The first of its kind in an off-road vehicle, the optional SpeedKey® system gives drivers control over the top speed.  A balck ignition key maximises engine power and top speed.  While a yellow key lowers the top speed to 23mph (38kph).
