Recycling garden refuse is increasingly popular and desirable.
The average garden generates a large amount of waste throughout the year, much of which has traditionally been burnt as the most convenient form of disposal. However, the environmentally-conscioius gardener knows that not only is this bad for the atmosphere but it is also a waste of natural composting material.
With the help of a shredder or chipper your green waste can easily be converted into chips for valuable mulch to provide a mosture retaining, weed suppressing layer on your borders. Chips can also be used as a top surface for a garden path.
