Delivery charges in Mainland UK including VAT are as follows:

Next working day delivery for items under £75......£10*
Next working day delivery for items over £75......£5*

*Next working day delivery is available on products (except outdoor furniture and some larger garden machinery products), providing that they are in stock. We will notify you immediately if we cannot provide a next day delivery. In order to secure a next day delivery you will need to select the next day delivery option at the checkout and we will need to receive the order by 1pm.

New for Summer 07! We now offer Saturday deliveries on most of our garden machinery, lawnmowers and barbecues. The charge is just £11. Please contact us by phone if you would like to arrange a Saturday delivery. 

Next working day before Noon, Next day before 9.00am and Next day before 10.30am deliveries are also possible on many of our products. Please contact us on 01732 749660 if any of these delivery options is required. Additional charges will be payable.

You can also specify a date for delivery (other than next working day which incurs the additional £5 charge) - by including a note in the 'Special Delivery Instructions' box at the checkout. We will notify you if we are not able to achieve delivery on that specified date. .

Special Postcodes - deliveries to the postcodes noted below will be charged at £25 for standard delivery and £30 for next day delivery.  For heavy items, additional charges may be applicable, but we will advise you before dispatch.

AB31-38, AB40-56, IV1-28, IV30-32, IV41-49, IV51-56, IV63, KW1-KW17, PA20-38, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH4-44, PH49-50.

Delivery Times

We aim to deliver within 2-4 working days on all orders received before 4pm (unless you have opted for a next day delivery). You will be advised as soon as we have dispatched your order to our carrier company. We will advise you by email if we are not able to deliver within the 2-4 day delivery timescale and you will be given the option to cancel your order if this does not suit. If we are out of stock we are generally able to obtain new supplies within short timescales and you will be notified accordingly.

Some large garden machinery items (such as ride on lawn tractors) and all garden furniture have longer delivery timescales. However, we always aim to deliver within 14 days on these items. We will contact you as soon as we receive your order to confirm delivery.

We use a number of different carriers for our goods. Most of the smaller items will arrive via one of the national carriers. Our larger garden machinery items will be delivered by our specialist carriage/distribution partners.

Out of Stock Items

Godfreys tries very hard to ensure that the products featured on this website are in stock. However, despite our best endeavours, some items may be temporarily out of stock due to either production difficulties or unexpected demand. If this is the case, you will be informed as to the expected delay, and given the opportunity to wait for the goods ordered to arrive, to cancel the order or to order the nearest possible alternative.

Special Delivery Instructions

Please include special delivery instructions if you cannot be at the delivery address to sign for the item (such as 'leave in garage' or 'leave with neighbour at no 19'). Please note however that if such instructions are given to us your delivery will be left according to your instructions at your own risk. 

If no special delivery instructions are given and noone is at the address to accept your delivery, the item will not be delivered (and an additional delivery charge may be levied).

If your address is difficult to find, please also use the Special Delivery Instructions box at the checkout to include directions.

Damaged Goods

Please check your item upon delivery to ensure that it is the correct item and has been delivered without damage. If you receive the wrong product or a damaged product please do not accept the item and hand back to the delivery driver for return to us.
