What are Godfreys' delivery charges?

Delivery charges in Mainland UK including VAT are as follows:

Orders under £75……… £5
Orders over £75……… Free
Next working day delivery for items under £75……… £10*
Next working day delivery for items over £75……… £5*

*Next working day delivery is available on products (except outdoor furniture and some larger garden machinery products), providing that they are in stock. We will notify you immediately if we cannot provide a next day delivery. In order to secure a next day delivery you will need to select the next day delivery option at the chekout and we will need to receive the order by 1pm.

Saturday deliveries are available, but please contact us by phone - 01732 749660 - if this is required. You will be advised of additional charges that may apply to a Saturday delivery.

We can also quote for delivery of orders outside the UK mainland - please call us on 01732 749660.  

How long will it take for my goods to be delivered?

We aim to deliver within 2-3 working days on all orders received before 4pm (unless you have opted for a next day delivery). You will be advised of the delivery details as soon as we have dispatched your order to our carrier company. We will advise you by email if we are not able to deliver within the 2-3 day delivery timescale and you will be given the option to cancel your order if this does not suit. If we are out of stock we are generally able to obtain new supplies within very short timescales.

Some large garden machinery items (such as ride on lawn tractors) and all garden furniture have longer delivery timescales. However, we always aim to deliver within 10-14 days on these items. We will contact you as soon as we receive your order to confirm delivery.

We use a number of different carriers for our goods. Most of the smaller items will arrive via one of the national carriers. Our larger garden machinery items will be delivered by our specialist carriage/distribution partners. Where indicated, they will also unpack, assemble and test the machinery at the delivery premises.

Who will deliver my goods?

Barlow Tyrie and Occasions furniture will be delivered direct from the manufacturers.

What if a product is out of stock?

Godfreys tries very hard to ensure that the products featured on this website are always in stock. However, despite our best endeavours, some items may be temporarily out of stock due to either production difficuties or unexpected demand. If this is the case, you will be informed as to the expected delay, and given the opportunity to wait for the goods ordered to arrive, to cancel the order or to order the nearest possible alternative.

How do I return goods and obtain refunds?

Item Not Required:

We aim to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision and our customer service advisors are always willing to discuss your requirements over the telephone (01732 749660) prior to purchase. However, to give you additional confidence, we will allow you to return your item at your cost if it is not what you require within 30 days of receipt as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging. However, this does not apply to items which have been supplied to your customized requirements (such as outdoor furniture).

All you need to do is contact us on 01732 749660 and we will explain our simple Returns procedures and discuss with you the easiest and most convenient way for you to return the item(s) to us. Unfortunately, we cannot accept proof of posting as confirmation of delivery.

Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the item(s) subject to them being unused and in their original condition and packaging.

Item damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied:

If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then all you need to do is follow the Returns Procedures detailed above. We will then arrange collection of the item(s) free of charge. Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the goods and any carriage costs.
